Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly:
- Account information: Name, email address when you create an account

Payment and subscription information:
Web subscriptions are processed securely through Stripe. iOS in-app purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not store credit card numbers. For iOS purchases, we receive subscription status, product identifiers, transaction identifiers, purchase environment, country code, and an app account token so we can verify and manage your entitlement.

Pinterest content:
URLs you submit for backup. We download and store the Pinterest content (images, metadata) on your behalf. For private and secret boards, the PinSuite browser extension uses your own logged-in Pinterest session, and your Pinterest credentials never leave your browser.

Usage data:
Pages visited, features used, and timestamps, collected to improve the service.
iOS App & Share Extension
The PinSuite iOS app lets you view, export, and save content to your PinSuite account. The iOS share extension receives only the URL or text you choose to share from another app, then opens PinSuite so you can preview and save that content. The share extension does not collect browsing history or background data.
Browser Extension & Web Clipper
The PinSuite browser extension (available for Chrome and Firefox) allows you to save images and videos from any webpage to your PinSuite library. Here is how it handles your data:

What is transmitted:
Only the URLs of images or videos you explicitly click to save. No page content, browsing history, or background data is ever collected or transmitted.

When data is sent:
Data is sent to pinsuite.app only when you actively click the save button on an image. The extension never transmits data without your action.

Content script:
The extension runs a content script on webpages to display a save button overlay on images. This script operates entirely in your browser and does not collect, store, or send any information about the pages you visit.

Authentication:
The extension reads your pinsuite.app session cookie to verify your account. This cookie is only sent to pinsuite.app servers, never to any third party.

Cookies accessed:
pinsuite.app (authentication), pinterest.com (only for private board access when you initiate a board save), instagram.com (only for profile access when you initiate a profile save).

Storage:
The extension stores an authentication token in local browser storage. No browsing data, page content, or history is stored.
What We Don't Collect

Your backed-up Pinterest content is stored on encrypted servers. We use HTTPS for all data transmission. You can download or delete your data at any time from your account settings.
Data Retention
We retain your account data and backed-up content for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all associated data is permanently removed within 30 days.

You have the right to:
