# Share a Pinterest Board With a Link | PinSuite Guide

# Share a board with a link

Every board in your library is private until you decide otherwise. When you want to show one to a client, a friend or a collaborator, you can give them a link to a clean page with no PinSuite account, no Pinterest login and no ads.

## Turn on a share link

- Open the board and click the More actions button (the three dots) at the top of the page.
- Choose **Share**.
- Pick **Unlisted**. A share link appears in the same dialog.
- Press **Copy** and send the link however you like.

The button in the menu changes from Share to Shared while a link is live, so you can tell at a glance which boards are out in the world.

## What people see

Anyone with the link sees a read-only copy of the board:

- The board's title and description, and every section as its own page they can click into.
- Every pin, which opens full size with its title, description and a link to its source.
- A Download button on each pin, so they can save the images they want.
- **The notes you wrote on pins.** Tags stay private, but notes are shown. Read them over before you share a board you have annotated for yourself.

They cannot change anything, and they do not see the rest of your library.

## Who can find it

Only people you give the link to. Shared boards are not listed anywhere on PinSuite, and each shared page tells search engines not to index it, so it will not turn up in search results.

## Stop sharing, or replace the link

- **Stop sharing:** open Share again and pick **Private**. Anyone who opens the old link sees a Not found page.
- **Replace the link:** press **Generate new link** in the Share dialog. The old link stops working at once, and the board stays shared on the new one. Use this if a link has gone further than you meant it to.

## Other ways to share

If the other person needs files rather than a web page, export the board as a PDF catalogue or a ZIP of the images instead. The [export formats guide](/guides/export-metadata) explains each one. Archived web pages cannot be shared with a link yet; they stay private to you.
